![]() Sit back and enjoy the view from the garden... ![]() ...or relax in the sitting room by a log fire, browse through the books and magazines, watch TV, or play one of our board games. There is a large parking area to accommodate almost any size of vehicle alongside our Coach House. There are many things to do in the immediate area around Millbrook. The Kennet and Avon Canal is only a few minutes walk away and has an excellent towpath that takes you to the centre of Bath, or to the charming ancient market town of Bradford on Avon. You can also hire bikes at the local Visitors' Centre and cycle along the towpath to Bath or Bradford on Avon. If you prefer a more leisurely trip, why not hire an electric launch from the Visitors' Centre or take a trip on the canal barges that depart from the marina regularly and stop off for lunch at one of the many canal-side inns? There are many delightful places to eat up and down the valley. There are also some great menus at the country pubs locally, some of which are just a short stroll away. We can recommend the Hop Pole in Limpley Stoke, the Wheatsheaf at Combe Hay, and the Hope and Anchor at Midford, to name just a few of our favourites. We are just a short distance - approximately three miles - from Bath city centre. The city of Bath has been a World Heritage Site since 1987, recognised as a place of outstanding universal value for its architecture, town-planning, landscape, archaeological remains and its role as a setting for social history. The history of the city extends over 6 millennia, from its earliest days when the Hot Springs were a place of worship for the Britons to the modern day when Bath is an international icon of architecture and archaeology within a thriving local community.
